Queensland Yard & Utility Trial Association Inc is the state organisation for yard & utility working dog trialling.
Our aims and objectives include to promote, support and encourage the training of working dogs including good stockmanship.
Membership applications are available and our 2025 trial calendar is also online.
About Us
QYUTA was officially incorporated on 2 November 2022. Yard and utility trialling was previously conducted via the Queensland Working Sheep Dog Association Inc (QWSDAI). QYUTA would like to thank the QWSDAI for their support of the new association.

2025 Membership Renewals are due.
There is an Online Renewal form.
The next yard trial is 14-16 March 2025 Inglewood Show Trial and followed by 22 – 23 March 2025 Jandowae Show Yard Trial.
The QLD State Championships – Goondiwindi Showgrounds 3-6 May 2025.
The Australian Yard Dog Championships at Dirranbandi Showgrounds 6 – 10 August are being hosted by QYUTA .
